Getting started

You will have a local preview by the end of this page.

Requirements

  • Git
  • Zola 0.23.4 or newer
  • rsites on your PATH
  • Python 3 with PyYAML (pip install pyyaml)

Preview

python3 scripts/sync-applicants.py
rsites serve

Or run ./scripts/build.sh to sync, check, and build public/.

Open the address printed by Zola. Production hosting uses Caddy against the public/ directory after rsites build.

Ubuntu deploy

Pack on a laptop, then copy the archive to the server. The host never clones this repo.

./deploy/ubuntu/push.sh --pack --bootstrap --domain listing.works user@host
./deploy/ubuntu/push.sh --pack --domain listing.works user@host

--pack runs scripts/build.sh and writes dist/listing-work-site.tar.gz. Omit --domain on first bootstrap to listen on :8080. --tls lan uses Caddy's local CA on a private network. The document root is /var/www/listing-work-site.
